Primarily used where an onsite septic system is not an option because of lot limitations, a grinder pump will push sewage into a public sewer using a low pressure delivery system. Grinder pumps are often used where gravity is not an option because the sewer at the house is at a lower elevation than the municipal sewer line. The Eone system comes as an outdoor unit which is installed in the ground outside, or as an indoor unit which can be installed in the basement.
